I obtained my medical degree in Stellenbosch University, South Africa in 1982. I have a Fellowship in Surgery/Orthopaedics from Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. I completed:
Paediatric Orthopaedic Speciality - training in the Women’s and Children’s Hospitals, Adelaide and Oskar-Helene-Heim not Oscar Haleno Hain
Trauma - at the Royal Adelaide Trauma Unit.
Limb Reconstruction Speciality - at Borgo Roma Hospital Verona, Kurgan Institute Russia, International Centre for limb lengthening Baltimore.
Hip Reconstruction Surgery - Inselspital, Bern, Switzerland.
I specialise in general orthopaedic surgery with interest in limb reconstruction, joint preservation, paediatric orthopaedics, hip joint reconstruction and foot and ankle surgery.
